I preformed my first home inspections in 1979 when they were simply called "System Checks". Since that time I have worked in various areas of the building industry. Many things have changed in the last three decades. Technology has improved to the point where reports are electronically produced and available immediately via the internet or printed out at the job site. This technology has also increased the accuracy of the inspector's reports. We use the most current home inspection software available today.

While change is all around us one thing hasn't changed and that is the responsibility the inspector has with regards to the integrity of the reporting and his duty to not involve himself in anything that would constitute a possible conflict of interest.
